Een maand voordat de lente komt/A month before spring arrives
Mijn werkproject is bijna afgerond. Nog een week te gaan. Aan de ene kant jammer maar het vooruitzicht om weer in de tuin aan de gang te kunnen gaan is toch ook wel weer heerlijk. Vandaag
een dagje vrij en ik had het plan om mijn tuintje te gaan schoonmaken en te beginnen met de rozen te snoeien. Ondanks dat het niet vriest was ik gauw klaar. Als je een uurtje bezig bent in de regen is het toch nog wel frisser dan je zelf denkt. Het is een en al blubber.
My project at work is almost finished. Just one week to go. I will miss my contact with my colleagues but at the other hand a lot of time to go into my little garden. Today a day of from work and I had planned to clean up the garden and start pruning my roses. But after one hour in the rain I recognized it was much more colder as I thought it would be. The garden looks like a swamp.
In de 17 jaar dat ik mijn tuintje heb is het nog nooit voorgekomen dat ik een roos zag bloeien tegelijkertijd met de Helleborus.
I have my garden now about 17 years and never saw a roseflower at the same time together with the Helleborus.

Dinsdag arriveerden mijn 2 nieuwe rozen. Ja, ja ik weet het mijn tuintje is al overvol maar als je eenmaal met het rozenvirus bent besmet is het moeilijk om niet in de verleiding te komen toch weer wat te kopen. Zondag besteld en dinsdag al in huis. Deze keer besteld bij Tuincentrum Lottum. Prima verpakt en prachtige struikjes.
Last Tuesday my 2 new roses arrived. Yes, Yes I know that I told not to buy more roses but when you have the rosevirus it's hard to stop buying new ones. Ordered last sunday and tuesday they arrived. The new shrubs look good.
En ik stop weer met een roosje die nog bloeit de Burgundy Ice. In zomer zijn de bloemen prachtig donker gekleurd.
I finish with a photo of a rose which is bringing one flower Burgundy Ice. In summer the color is more beautiful.
