rose Dresdner Barock in 2019
Dresdner Barock, Breeder Hortus 2008, Germany
In
mijn tuintje is ze één van de eerste die in het nieuwe rozenseizoen haar knoppen toont.
To me it is wonderful to see what a certain rose did over het last year. In 2018 it had
only a few flowers. All buds were destroyed by an insect that put theire youngs
into the buds and is able to let drop down the bud on the gardensoil. I am happy
that I have a friend who has a wonderful knolledge of roses and he told me to pinch
of all the damaged buds and to look under the roses for already fallen buds and take
them away too. In 2019 this rose was beautiful and not 1 damaged bud could be
found. In my garden it's one of the first roses in the new season showing buds and
flowers.
I was happy to welcome the first bud at March 31st

Good afternoon dear Lisbeth,
VerwijderenI promiss, I will!! I am a member of the Dutch Rosesociety and saw a picture of it in the club magazine. And found it on line at a German rosenursery. It's great to have it. The flower explosion is amazing. The rest of the year a scattered later bloom. I love it. It's so healthy. Even this hot and dry summer not 1 sick leave in it.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy the beautiful garden you have.
Rosehugs Marijke
Good afternoon dear Marijke,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful flowering buds on this rose. I have never seen this rose before. You have so many different roses. It was very interesting to read about this rose.
Have a wonderful day!
Rosehugs, Marit
Good morning dear Marit,
VerwijderenYes I have a lot of roses. There are people think having roses only is borring. But I have spent a lot of money of trying other plants in the garden. And they don't like it. And the roses are doing what I want so much to see. They are doing so well.
I wish you a wonderful day.
Rosehugs Marijke
Wow. Our roses begin to bloom in the end of June or in July. So, much later..
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGood morning dear Satu,
VerwijderenWhat's happening with the roses is not normal to see in Holland at this time of the year.
We are in wintertime but we did not have wintertemperatures with frost and snow but
double figures in temperatures. I know winter can be visiting our country until late February. We will see what happens. At the moment I am enjoying the beautiful flowers.
Have a wonderful day
Rosehugs Marijke
