A new beginning 1
Het is bijna een jaar geleden dat ik mijn laatste blog heb geplaatst. Maar we gaan er weer voor. We hebben helaas de afgelopen maanden geen winter weer gehad. Donker grijze luchten met veel wind en regen maakten dat de donkere dagen nog veel korter leken. Maar het is weer voorbij en vandaag was een zonovergoten dag gelukkig
Almost a year ago since I have posted the last blog. But I make a new start. The wintermonth´s did´nt bring any winterweather. Dark grey sky´s with a lot of rain and wind made the short winterday´s look shorter. But after rain and darkness we finaly have beter weather in Holland,
At January the fifth I noticed the beautiful buds of the Helleborus were there. Alway special to see the old foliage of the Heleborus hanging to give the buds all the light they need. Time to take the old foliage afway

The Helleborus is so beautiful.
We had some snow in winter but also many grey days. And now cold and sunshine, the snowdrops are starting to bloom, I love them.

VerwijderenDank je wel. Klopt het leek wel of ze niet verder wilden groeien. Maar ja vorig jaar waren bijna alle bloemen opgegeten. Heb de dader nooit op kunnen sporen (lol). Ja super blij met die Helleborussen. Hoop dat er nog een hoop bloemen overblijven voor als de bestuivers wakker worden.

Welcome back! Spring comes at least six weeks earlier where you are and I am sure you are enjoying these early blooms. It will be mid March at the earliest here before we see flowers in the garden, probably Snowdrops followed by Crocuses.
