An early spring
De wintertijd is een moeilijke tijd voor een blogger die zich voornamelijk bezighoud
met wat er gebeurt in haar kleine tuintje. Maar het tuinseizoen is weer van start gegaan.
En alles is zo vroeg dit jaar.
Wintertime is not een easy time for a gardenblogger like me. But the gardenseason
started early this year in Holland. So time to blog again.
27th Januari the Snowdrop
Helleborus Foetidus
Helleborus is very early this year . Normaly I cut of the old leaves at half februari but
now it was already covered with flowers
17th February. Got up early that day and it was breathtaking to watch the sunrise at polder Arkhemeen Nijkerk
At 20th of February I bought a new camera. And the Crocusses where there to practice
with it.

23rd February. The sun was shining and we had temperatures if it
was the Month of May. And I noticed the first bumble bee's where there
A biketour that same day at the forrest in my hometown

My crocus don´t like the weather so I am afraid that the last ones won´t flower.

VerwijderenThank you so much for your kind words. I was lucky that the crocusflowers showed up at a short, but beautiful great weather. The last week is so different it looks more like autumn. Nature is beautiful! I am living 21 years now in this village and never have seen the deers before. It was a very special moment for me. With all these storms we are having now I am thinking a lot how it will be at your place living so close by the see. I have to confess that all my life I am very scarred of storms. But one day real springweather will be there again.

Slowly we are getting early signs of spring here, but it will be a couple more weeks until we have flowers.

VerwijderenSpringtime is the most wonderful time of the year to me. Not only to see the first flowers but it´s also wonderful that the birds are starting to sing and let us know that springtime has begun. I have a lot of birds visiting my garden but I don´t have the special lens to photograph it yet.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenGoedemorgen Hetty. Ja het is inderdaad heeeeeel erg snel gegaan allemaal. Ook de Helleborussen zijn zo vroeg. Normaal knip ik het oude blad half februari en ben dan altijd blij verrast dicht bij de grond de kleine bloemknoppen te zien nu al volop in de bloemen.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenEr is al veel te zien in je tuin: het tuinseizoen is écht begonnen.
Maar die stormachtige wind en regen gemengd met sneeuwvlokken vind ik maar niks.
Het hoort wel bij maart.

VerwijderenIk kan alles de grond wel uitkijken al weet ik dat dat niet helpt om de planten en rozen sneller te laten groeien (lol). Ik vindt regen niet erg maar van kinds af aan wordt ik super onrustig van die stormen. Maar het is zoals je zegt het hoort bij de maand Maart. Laten we hopen dat het snel rustiger wordt in de atmosfeer. Een hoop te ontdekken op de nieuwe camera is altijd een beetje wennen.
