Goedemorgen!! We zijn al sinds 10 december in algehele lockdown hier. Ik had zo gehoopt op een wonder maar nog steeds gaat het aantal geïnfecteerde per dag nog steeds niet naar het niveau dat we zo graag zouden willen zien. Het voor ons dichts bij zijnde ziekenhuis in Harderwijk kan geen patiënten meer opnemen. Laten we hopen dat het vaccin wonderen gaat verrichten. Voor de rozenliefhebbers in Nederland wil ik wijzen op het mooie blog van Dirk /https://theclassicroses.blogspot.com/
Good morning! Since december 10th we are in a total lockdown in Holland. I hoped for a miracle to happen. But the number of infected people does'nt go down. The hospitals are over crowded. We can't go to the nearest hospital because they don't have space to take in new patiënts. Let's hope the vaccin will bring the miracle we are all waiting for.

VerwijderenYou are so right!!!! I am so greatfull that I have the birds in my little garden. They let me forget a lot of negative thought's I sometimes have. I discovered this morning that a new kind of bird is visiting my little frontgarden the smallest bird we have in Europe it's Regulus Regulus.

You could have Trump's actions as a distraction. It is a very humbling experience. I am glad, though, that you write about what is happening in Holland. It is exactly the same here in Los Angeles County, California USA. We are all connected together to try to fight the coronavirus. We are all facing people who seem to not understand or care about others. Winter roses are lovely, aren't they?

It is always a pleasure to see your beautiful roses. and the lilac plant is very pretty. I have been isolating together with my husband ever since the pandemic started, easy for us, as we live in an isolated place anyway. We are very careful, but I'm afraid that others are careless. Like you, I'm hopeful that the vaccine will be effective. Take care my friend.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI hope that everything soon will be better, but for now we are all very afraid for the corona, we hope that all will take care, but unfortunately many don´t do it, and that is the reason why it is getting worse, and we all know it.
