Happy Springtime
Als het zonnetje erbij komt en de temperaturen stijgen gaat het snel met de voorjaarsbloeiers. En niet alleen de bloemen van de Crocus zijn prachtig maar ook hun bezoekers zijn weer wakker geworden. Zo mooi om de bijen weer te horen zoemen. Vanmorgen was het bewolkt en vanmiddag volop zon en 19C in mijn tuintje.
When the sun is shining and temperatures are rising it goes fast with the springflowers. This morning it was cloudy but now full sunshine and 19C in my little garden. Not only the flowers of the Crocus are very welcome to see but also theire visitors. Fantastic to see and to hear the bee's.
Narcissus Tete a Tete will open up tomorrow I think.
I hope that signs of spring also can be noticed in your gardens.

VerwijderenIt's really fascinating how fast things grow now. And also to see that nature awake's. Yes the Helleborus is really old. Great food for the bee's. Pulmonaria is a beautiful one. But I forgot to take the seedheads out. It's spreads like creazy and is growing in all kind of plants now. But never to old to learn (fun).

VerwijderenIt's great to see that spring is on it's way. Temperatures are going down now to normal 9 a 10C. I still can remember the last week of 2013 when the neerby lake was frozen. I hope that things like that won't happen. The bee's are fantastic to notice. They are welcome here.

Hello Marijke, :=) It's a pleasure to see the flowers in your garden. Your Helleborus plant is really beautiful, I am surprised it has lasted so long, and looks in wonderful condition. Love the crocus images. There are wild crocus on the farm, and together with the daffodils, they are the first flowers to emerge. New life can be seen every where, roll on Spring!

VerwijderenGraag gedaan. Het is heerlijk om de eerste lentebodes weer te zien. Goed dat je ook bezoek hebt van de bijen op je balkon. Ja een bezoek aan de Bijenkorf zou ook leuk zijn maar dat gaat helaas niet. Alle winkels nog steeds op slot hier.

VerwijderenThank you for your visit. It's great to see the garden re-born again. You will notice that things are growing very quickly when it get's a bit warmer and having sunshine. White Helleborus is also a great thing to have. I noticed over the years that new planted darker Helleborus start sending flowers sometimes after the 3rd year of being planted.

It was lovely to have 19C but things has changed now. The cold wind from the northeast was at the front of my house. And having a small garden surrounded by beechhedges make it more comfortable in the early in the year. It's different for you having a very large garden where the cold winds are free to blow.
