First week of April
Goedemorgen!! Wat is het toch genieten buiten. Het weer is zo mooi!! Het
is pas voorjaar als de bruine kikker weer is gearriveerd. Heerlijk die
diepe basgeluiden die ze voortbrengen. De achtertuin.
Good morning!! It's so lovely outside. The weather is fantastic overhere.
Spring arrived in the pond too! It's great to see the brown frog in my pond.
My little backgarden.
The Camelia almost had it's best time. The huge amound of flowers
made the Camelia bending down.
The Treepeonie is showing her beauty. And I can't wait to
see her purple-red flowers.
Rose Dresdner Barock did grow a lot and the first flowerbuds
are showing up
This Hydrangea did have a difficult time last summer because
of the heath and drought I am happy that it survived.
Geranium Maculatum. I love the color of it's brownred foliage
The 20 years old Helleborus did grow out to a lovely huge bush
And the duck's were there again.
After a dark winter it's always great to see everything in new green.
I should have pruned this historical rose Fantin Latour. I know I have to
prune it after blooming but I don't know how much I can prune on this rose.
The frontgarden. It's great to step out of the frontdoor and be welcomed
by the wall of new green of rose Madame Plantier.
No flowers in the roses yet but I love what my garden brings me

Alors là ! tu habites bien plus au Nord et voilà que ton jardin est mille fois plus avancé que le mien, les pivoines sortent à peine du sol, pas encore de boutons sur les roses et un camélia bien plus agréable à regarder que le mien (il est minable cette année).

VerwijderenThe flowers of the pink Camelia were spectaculair this year. I planted a red Camelia 5 years ago but it never brought any flowers. The rosebuds are so early because I am still affraid to
prune the roses. So I did not prune most of them. Those who are pruned are far, far behind in growing. Yes the frogs are always coming to my pond. They make the pond full of live.
I am wondering about the weather that's to come this week. Yesterday 22C and today only 9C. A big difference. And frost is forcasted during the night on saturday. We will see. Have a fantastic week ahead.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice to see that you have rosebuds, my roses need to grow a lot more before I can enjoy the buds. I ca see what you mean about the camelia, but yours have a lot of flowers, we don´t like they get brown flowers so fast.
I think you can prune your rose as much as you like after blooming, it will come strong again.

VerwijderenBecause I am still affraid of rosepruning my roses are giving buds already. I have no idea
why the white Camelia is always showing like the flowers are damaged even when we did
not have a cold wintertime ore late nightfrost. I 've seen on your photo's that you are not affraid to cut back the roses. If we only could trust that wintertime won't be a cold periode anymorse I would love to prune my roses at the begin of november. But that's a thing we don't know.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenwat een heerlijk blog met dat nieuwe frisse groen en je beginnende rozen.
Je ziet het waarschijnlijk met de dag groener worden en ook de rozen steeds hoger komen.
De lente is tot vandaag een beetje aan me voorbij gegaan amar ik geniet wel van alles wat ik zie hoor.
Je blog geeft ook gelijk weer energie voor de komende week :-)
