Respect/behavior
Wat een bizarre tijden beleven we op dit moment. Mijn hersenen draaien overuren omdat ik niet kan begrijpen waarom het zo moeilijk is voor een mens om hun gedrag te veranderen. Als de mens zijn gedrag had gewijzigd hadden we op dit moment niet zoveel geïnfecteerden gehad. Restaurants zijn al enkele weken gesloten en sinds 1 week ook alle andere winkels gesloten met uitzondering van de supermarkten. Het blijkt dat vele mensen zich niets aantrekken van de herhaaldelijke verzoeken om thuis te blijven. Groot respect heb ik voor alle mensen die werken in de zorg. Zij lopen de laatste tijd het vuur uit hun sloffen om iedere patiënt zo goed mogelijk te verzorgen en hoe zuur moet het voor deze mensen zijn geweest om de overvolle winkelstraten en rijen wachtende voor de IKEA te zien in het nieuws. Winkels dicht in Nederland dan gaan we gewoon naar België of nemen het vliegtuig naar Engeland om toch te kunnen shoppen. Er is volgens mij maar 1 manier om zo snel mogelijk dit rotvirus uit te bannen. De adviezen op te volgen om zoveel mogelijk thuis te blijven.
All over the world we are going through bizarre times. My brains are making over time because I can't understand why it is so difficult to change our behavior. If we all followed the advice to stay home there would not be so many infected people. Restaurants are closed for weeks here and all the shops are closed too since 1 week. Only the grocery's are open. But people don't want to listen and make theire own laws. I can't explain how huge my respect is for those who are working at the healtcare. How terrible it must have been for them to see the big crowds in front of the IKEA and now that the shops are closed in Holland people are going to Belgium ore taking an airplain to England to do theire christmas shopping. There is only 1 thing to get ride of this terrible virus as soon as possible. Stay home and avoid unnecessary contacts.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour modern Christmas tree is very sparkling and pretty. Too many people here in the US are going everywhere and getting together for the Holidays just like we always used to. In some areas restaurant dining indoors is open, and then 30 minutes away the restaurants are completely closed. It just depends on the local politics. Very large churches are holding Christmas services , where many people will be crowded together. It is crazy to me. I haven't even been to a hair salon since early last March before the virus got bad here in Missouri. I can cut my bangs just fine , but my hair is now getting a few inches past my shoulders. Who knows how long my hair will be before I am willing to go to a hair salon to have it cut. My husband got clippers, and cuts his own hair.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHappier subjects are the beautiful roses you have and the heron that was standing at your pond. It looked like it was posing for a picture. I have a few roses still in bloom sheltered near my house. I have another rose bush near to the house that has its leaves still, but roses are gone. Instead of roses many, many small birds shelter among the leaves and thorns that are still there. We have a hawk that screeches as it flies over the yard if we are outside. I think the tiny birds think they are safe from that hawk there in the thorny rosebush. I hope they are.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenthere are some people who don't care the restrictions at all here in St. Petersburg too. I do not understand them, there were held crowded concerts as well, all this spread the virus. Your roses are pretty and a heron is amasing.
We have to take care and be healthy.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes, Christmas was "celebrated" in the distance and the precaution ... Not even decoration for me. A few candles, a wood fire, some Poinsettias for color.
