Flowers in the rain
After many weeks of drought the rain finaly came down yesterday. Not normal
rain but very heavy rain. But we have been lucky. In certain parts of Germany hailstorms distroyed the gardens. Not only the garden needed this rain but also the
tree's. Theire leaves were hanging too.

Good morning dear Marijke,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenRaindrops is just so beautiful on flowers! I can understand that you are happy about the rain. It was forecasted here too, but now it's gone. I hope we will get some rain too, bacause it's very dry here. The wind dries out the soil.
Wonderful photos! I wish you a nice day.
Rosehugs, Marit
Good morning dear Marit,
VerwijderenIt looks like the garden can breath again. Lovely fresh air! I am always amazed how fast the
garden dry's out by wind and hot temperatures.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy the garden
Rosehugs Marijke
Hello dear Marijke
VerwijderenWe got rain too, but the plants love it. Thank you for the picture of Ambridge Rose, it is very nice and the scent i fantastic. How tall is yours?
Have a nice day
Rosehugs Lisbeth
Good morning dear Lisbeth,
VerwijderenAfter the rain the garden looks so fresh. We had a lot of water and I loved it. Ambridgerose
is doing great this year. At my garden it's about 1.30 m now.
Have a wonderful weekend
Rosehugs Marijke
Thank you for the answer. I have now found it in Denmark. My Ambridge rose was very low, I hope a new one will be better.
VerwijderenSame to you, it is raining her now.
Rosehugs Lisbeth
Fantastic news Lisbeth. It was a fantastic rose this year.
VerwijderenHave a wonderful evening.
Rosehugs Marijke
Jaloers! Maar een paar mm regen . Zucht . Groetjes Hetty
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGoedemorgen Hetty,
Rozige groetjes Marijke
Your plants look wonderful in the rain, beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGood morning dear Klara,
VerwijderenThe garden needed the rain so badly. It looks now like it's rebirthing again.
Have a wonderful day.

Good morning dear Marijke, beautiful roses with raindrpos ! Some of your photos almost look like paintings.. Yes, the garden needs rain, luckily it was not too rough on your garden... Here it is warm, so I have to water much every day. I love the summer!! Right now my peonies are in bloom.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWishing you a lovely day!
Rosehugs, Ida
Good morning dear Ida,
VerwijderenGreat that summer arrived in your garden too!!!! Fantastic to read that your Peonies are in bloom now. I love them!!! I hope you post photo's soon from it.
Have a wonderful day
Rosehugs Marijke
Dear Marijke, I am happy your garden got rain without significant damage. Your roses look refreshed. The 'Isabella Renaissance' is the most perfect velvety crimson color. It seems to hold up to rain, also. The first Hydrangea with the plum-colored edges is also the most wonderful color.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHave a beautiful day in the garden!
Hello dear Hoover Boo,
VerwijderenThe Isabella Renaissance is a real beauty and such a strong frangance. The scent it's bringing reminds me of the rose my mother had in the garden when i was a child. It's a hard one to photograph because in real it's so dark and velvet. The hydrangea you mentioned is a real beautiful one. It's new in my garden. On my kind of soil the blue or plum colored hydrangea's don't stay in that color but there are things to buy to let them stay blue.
I will see what it's doing next year.
Have a wonderful day.
Rosehugs Marijke
Fijn weekend, groetjes Tinie
Hallo Tinie,
Fijne avond gewenst.
Hartelijke groetjes Marijke
Dear Marijke - The beautiful roses of yours look more attractive with raindrops. They all look happy for the water from heaven. Hydrangea needs lots of water as “hydro” shows. They are floral symbol of Japan’s rainy season.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYoko
Good morning dear Yoko,
VerwijderenThe garden needed the rain! Everything is so green in the garden at the moment. I love it eventhough most roseflowers are gone at the moment. I hope the bad weather is gone in certain parts of your country. I]ve seen what a damage to much rain can bring on the news overhere. It's great to see the Hydrangea's comming into bloom it brings a lot of color into my little garden.
Have a wonderful day
Rosehugs Marijke
Dear Marijke!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes the rainy was very hard. But it is so wonderful - the rainy at roses and other plants is a beautyful combination. Very nice pictures!
Have a lovely day and best regards Urte
Good morning dear Urte,
VerwijderenYes it's the summer of extreme weather. Extreme drought and when it rain's lot's of heavy rain is coming down. But my little garden needed it. Everything is so green and lush at the moment.
Have a wonderful day Urte,
Rosehugs Marijke
Hoi Marijke,
Liefs Marijke
Beautiful Roses, there must be loads of in your garden.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMarijke, thanks one million for this entry! It helped me to identify by name/variety a rose I have and is my favorite rose among all the roses in my garden: Pure d'Or! I live in Argentina and roses here are rarely labelled with names in nurseries, they are simply labelled by color, now I know my favorite rose is Pure d'Or. Thanks again!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOlá Marijke,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSão lindas!
Boa entrada de semana.
Abraços.
