Het is weer even wennen aan het frisse weer. De kachel staat weer aan en ook
de sokken zijn weer uit de kast. De vijver doet het goed en gelukkig kan
hond Vito niet meer met zijn scherpe nagels in het rubber.
We have to get used to the colder weather that we have. The heating is
on again and the socks are out of the closet again. I am happy that
I don't have to worry again about dog Vito hanging with his sharp
nails in the rubber.
And I am not the only one who is happy with the new pond.
so are the frogs.

Today. I love to go out early in the morning. Everything is
so peaceful. No noise of people only the birds with
theire beautiful songs.

I can't wait to see the rose Dresdner Barock in bloom. But
the temperatures are low so the roses take a break.

The protection of the Peony works very well. I think this
will be the first time that the heavy flowers don't end up on the soil.
Can't wait to see rose Compassion in bloom. The front of my house
looks more and more like the castle of Sleeping Beauty. (lol).

VerwijderenWe have been spoiled so much by the early summertemperatures. I never thought that
temperatures would drop down. Hail, and strong winds are forecasted overhere for the
weekend! I am greatfull that I've had the chance to see the beauty of the Treepeonyflowers
when the weather was nicer.

Your garden is absolutely delightful and I can understand how agreeable it is for you to walk around and absorb the sounds and smells of nature, without the distraction of human presence. I applaud you again for the work on the pond, and it is so encouraging to see that frogs have already made it home.

VerwijderenThank you so much for your kind words!! It really is great to see that wildlife in the
pond is doing so well. It was a lot of work but the bonus is to see that the work was
for a good reason. Where I am greatfull for is that my children, also have respect for
nature. There is one container in the garden full of young tadpole's saved by our son.
The problem was to find out what this little things had on the menu. But on the internet it was told to put some slices of cucumber on the water. This would attrack insects, and it works. There is one hope I have to see the damselfly's in a short time.

Amai daar staan al veel rozen open, gisteren ontdekte ik mijn eerste open roos en was ik zo blij, maar dat valt wel in het niets met wat ik hier zie

Hier gelukkig niet. Wel regen maar die is welkom want als je iets in de grond wilt zetten
zie je pas hoe droog alles nog is.

En wat zul je blij zijn met de nieuwe vijver, het wat koelere weer is helemaal niet verkeerd in de startfase van het geheel. Dan kunnen de planten zich weer rustig herstellen!

VerwijderenOok al is er maar hier en daar een bloem het genieten gaat volop beginnen.
En je hebt gelijk voor wat betreft de vijver. De zuurstofplanten krijgen door de koele
temperaturen de tijd om weer tot groei over te gaan.

J'adore ton rosier "Parure d'Or", quel gentlement celui là !
