Memories of June 2021(2)
Hoe heerlijk is het dat de storm van gisteren weer voorbij is. Hier gelukkig geen schade. Maar aan het eind van de straat ging een hele grote boom om.
Op 9 juni zorgden de rozen in de voortuin al voor een super mooie aanblik. Er was dit jaar meer interesse van de voorbij gangers. De meest maken dezelfde opmerking. Prachtig maar veel te veel werk. Jammer genoeg hebben mensen altijd het idee dat rozen in de tuin veel werk met zich mee brengt. Ik wil dan altijd graag vertellen dat dit niet zo is.
It's great that the storm that we've had yesterday is gone. No damage here but at the end of the street a huge tree came down.
At June 9th more roses were showing theire beautiful flowers. The interest of people was more as it was in other years. It's a pitty that a lot of people don't like roses because they think it's a lot of work. I love to tell that it is not.

VerwijderenIt happened on a playground for children. It was terrible weather so no children were there.
During my walks with my dog I noticed that a lot of tree´s came down in our district. But times are better now.

L'entretien des rosiers c'est essentiellement l'hiver pour l'amendement (fumier surtout) et au printemps pour la taille qui peut s'avérer fastidieuse vu le nombre de rosiers, ensuite ce sont les engrais, entretien du feuillage et arrosage. Bon d'accord si on n'a que quelques rosiers ce n'est pas grave et cela prendra peu de temps. Pour les accros des roses comme nous finalement le temps que nous leur consacrons n'a pas beaucoup d'importance, le principal est d'avoir un jardin à notre image.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenComme toujours les roses sont belles chez toi et j'admire ton "Sourire d'Orchidée" en arbuste, le mien est en grimpant depuis des années mais j'ai du le tailler fortement car il allait trop chez le voisin, je pense que je vais le tenter moins haut comme chez toi. Nous avons eu du vent certes mais rien de plus qu'avant, nous avons du nous situer dans une partie plus calme.
Aujourd'hui c'est la chandeleur, le jour des crêpes, je vais prendre encore quelques grammes sur la balance. Passe une agréable fin de semaine. Bises. Siam

VerwijderenYes most of the work in a rosegarden is done in wintertime. But it's great to do some work in the garden at that time. I already started to prune my roses. We are having a very mild winter here and the roses are already making a start leafing out. I know king winter can make a visited untill March. But if a rose die's there will be a new place for a new rose. Since 10 years I accept that not every green leaf have to be perfect. So no chemicals are being used here since.
